The workbook includes articulation strategies that work for sounds frequently in error among school-age children /S, Z, TH, SH, CH, F, V, prevocalic/vocalic r, prevocalic/vocalic L/ and it contains therapy activities and reproducibles for use with these strategies.
The accompanying CD contains all reproducible pages in the manual in color as well as Consonant-Vowel-Consonant (CVC) Word Lists for each of the sounds, Sound Bombardment Sentences, and Minimal Pair Lists which can be used for quick screenings, treatment, and post-evaluation of progress. Each CVC Word List contains a series of age-appropriate words for each of the sounds in initial and final position, including challenge words for older students.
The instructional DVD includes video clips of all the strategies included in the workbook being taught to students with both "classic" errors and more unusual errors, and the clips show student success through use of the placement strategies.

Ana Paula G. Mumy, MS, CCC-SLP, is a trilingual speech-language pathologist who has been working with children and adults for the past 10 years in a variety of settings, specializing in articulation strategies, language interventions through storybooks, and bilingual issues. She has developed many therapy tools for both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking children of all ages. She works as a school-based SLP and also provides consulting services for school districts and organizations needing assistance with bilingual populations.
