Oral Placement Screening for Speech and Feeding Skill Assessment (DVD) — TalkTools^®

Is OPT needed? This 5-minute screening can be used with children and adults to determine if there is an oral-motor component to their speech sound errors. It has been standardized on children over the age of five years who can follow verbal and/or visual instructions. It is easy to administer and requires no therapy tools.

On this DVD, you will find a two sided screening form which can be downloaded and a short video demonstration of a therapist using this screening to assess a five-year-old child.
