Staff Development Day / Live Course Co-Hosting Opportunities

NSS is partnering with schools & healthcare facilities across the United States and Canada to provide cutting-edge, quality continuing education seminars in an affordable, convenient manner. And what's more convenient than in your hometown? If your school or facility is interested in having NSS provide a Staff Development Day or is interested in Co-Hosting one of our dynamic seminars, please see the list of responsibilities below. Staff Development Day

When we organize a seminar for you, we provide the following:

  • Assistance with topic and speaker selection and customization of your onsite seminar
  • CEU approval/accreditation when applicable (ASHA, AOTA and/or state licensing boards and associations)
  • Live Course handout for each participant
  • Registration and completion materials including nametags, evaluation forms, CEU certificates and CEU permanent record

School / Facility Responsibilities:

  • Provide accessible facility and appropriate-sized lecture meeting room
  • Supply chairs, tables, and refreshment service
  • Furnish audiovisual equipment
  • Provide onsite seminar coordination if an NSS facilitator is not present
  • Transport the instructor between his/her hotel and meeting facility
  • Speaker fees & expenses to be negotiated

Co-Hosting A Live Course

What Does This Mean? While you host the seminar of your choice at your facility, NSS sponsors the seminar and markets it to professionals in your region.

Co-Hosting Responsibilities:

  • Provide accessible facility and lecture meeting room
  • NSS requires comfortable seating for registrants either in a tiered auditorium setting or a classroom style set up with tables and chairs
  • Supply light refreshment service during registration and at breaks
  • Furnish audiovisual equipment
  • Provide a staff member for seminar coordination
  • Transport the instructor between his/her hotel and meeting facility
