Reviews

"The calendar of activities is most beneficial. It is a great resource for teachers, parents or for anyone who works with young children. It has fun & playful child-oriented activities, which stimulate interest in developing language and enhances their motivation to participate. I liked the idea that these recommended activities are for all children to participate in, not just a certain group (ie. language disabled). The activities encourage language development in all students and the techniques can be used across the curriculum. "Collaboration is essential! Inspiring parents to take an active role in nurturing and improving their child's speech and language skills was what stood out to me. Having these practical strategies is wonderful and will be fully used. Also, standing out to me was explaining to parents the link between language and learning. This would be wonderful to include in parent training classes as well.  Obviously the practical ideas/calendars, but also the inspiration to present to parents these ideas and how they can be quick and part of their daily activities. I would like to be able to provide parents with models of how to do the varied techniques we use, such as expanding, commenting, etc." C.C. (Jul. 2021)
