"I found the P.O.P. sheets to be extremely beneficial for my daily practice. I currently teach preschool special education and the P.O.P. sheets will not only benefit the parents of my students, but also the SLPA and assistants that will be in my classroom next school year. I might even post the hand-outs on the walls to remind us all of the importance of finding opportunities to use purposeful communicate during play.  I really liked that the course provided the P.O.P. sheets to encourage families to use speech and language with their child within their day-to-day lives. This course also had other great tips on how to help parents feel successful, including avoiding language that parents might not understand or might be intimidated by, being culturally aware and sensitive to multilingual families, and facilitating parent participation so that they feel comfortable being part of their child's early intervention."  M.M.
